What do people out there think about Heath Hickok, Matt Potter, Celia Scheer, Kerry Gauthier and Gordon Grant? It'll be an interesting primary in the 4th.
I actually heard a couple of the candidates on local radio. Potter wants to cut taxes. I wonder what cuts he would make to city services to make that happen--not very realistic. I was impressed with Hickok, he seems to know what he is talking about.

I think its too bad there are so many cadidates in this race who will be eliminated by a largely uninformed vote on September 15. I would bet that very few people in town could name the council candidates, let alone accurately identify their stands on key issues.
Csid, I don't think you have to worry about uninformed voters so much in an off year primary. The people who turn up will probably have some idea why and who they want to vote for. There are a lot of candidates in district 4 though. Patrick Boyle sure got lucky in district 2. Do you think the conservatives are going to vote for Wagner?
I am more concerned about misinformed voters. People who might be motivated to vote because some demagogue lied to them.
